About
Strong opinions, weakly held.
If there's one universal truth, it's that there's no such thing as a universal solution. But with the right principles, you can get pretty close.
I'm a technology leader who's spent fifteen years bridging the gap between needs and capabilities. That includes doing the unglamorous work needed to ensure success. I've built data platforms, automated compliance, managed vendors, led teams — and handled day-one pivots when expectations didn't match reality. From employee #3 to employee #3000, from non-profit orgs to massive hedge funds — and almost always from 0→1.
I write here about what I've learned along the way — the vendor decisions, the compliance challenges, the metrics conversations, and the practical lessons that come from staying through the results.
I occasionally take on consulting engagements. If something I've written resonates and you want to talk, email [email protected]. If you disagree wholeheartedly? Even better — let me know.
